The Icon: Diane Kruger in Inglourious Basterds

No matter what the film, Diane Kruger is always the best element in it.

Everyone seems to love Inglourious Basterds (2009). For some reason, people think that this film that is the definition of "it was okay", is absolutely genius.

Oh well. At least it has Diane Kruger in it. She's amazing in pretty much every way.

As is her wardrobe. It's the quintessential iconic look.

There's not much more I can say about the glorious Diane (or Bridget von Hammersmark).

An interesting observation about the film's costumer designer, Anna B. Sheppard, though: she seems to specialize in films about World War 2. Schindler's List (1993), The Pianist (2002), Hannibal Rising (2007), Captain America: The First Avenger (2011), The Book Thief (2013), to name a few. Hmm.

What's also interesting is that she has provided the costume designs for the upcoming Maleficent (2014) film. Hmmmmm.

Anna B. Sheppard may be one to watch.

Just like Diane Kruger has always been.
